Fairfield Road Resurfacing – Tuesday, 27 September

Tower Hamlets council plans to (finally) resurface part of Fairfield Road- from the junction of Bow Road to the railway bridge – on Tuesday 27 September.

The council plans to start work that night at 8pm and should finish at 5am the following day.

To do the work quickly, that part of Fairfield Road will be closed to traffic and some of the on-street parking will be suspended.  According to the council’s highways asset management engineer Jeff Aghoghogbe, will be no access to Fairfield Road from Bow Road during that time. However you will be able to access Hartfield Road, Wrexham Road and Paton Close from Fairfield Road via Tredegar Road.
