Transport for London plans to resurface the road on the A12 East Cross route between Wick Road and Eastway between 21 & 28 February and 1 and 16 March and the slip roads at Bow roundabout between 19 & 23 March and for one night on 26 March.

The following overnight road closures are planned, with noisy work due to be finished by midnight. Times might change if weather is poor:

21 February – northbound slip road from Wick Road to A12 East Cross Route, 9pm-5am.
22-18 February – northbound A12 East Cross Route between Wick Lane & Wick Road, 9pm-5am.
1-16 March – northbound A12 East Cross Route between Wick Road & Lea Interchange, 9pm-5am.
19 March – southbound slip road from Bow roundabout to the A12 Blackwall Tunnel northern approach including Hancock Rd (access to Tesco), 10pm-5am.
20 March – southbound slip road from A12 Blackwall Tunnel northern approach to Bow roundabout.
21-22 March – northbound slip road from A12 Blackwall Tunnel northern approach to Bow roundabout, 10pm-5am.
23 March – northbound slip road from Bow roundabout to A12 Blackwall Tunnel northern approach, 10pm-5am.
26 March – southbound slip road from Bow roundabout to A12 Blackwall Tunnel northern approach including Hancock Rd (access to Tesco), 10pm-5am.

Bus routes 108, 488 and D8 will be temporarily diverted. Bus stops on Hancock Rd will be closed where necessary and no buses will serve the Tesco on Hancock Road on 20 and 26 March after 10pm.
