Roman Road Christmas Fair 2017 – Saturday 16 December

Roman Road’s Christmas Fair is back for the third year. The event runs from 11am to 4pm in the Roman Road carpark.

Local residents, businesses and community groups are an integral part of the Roman Road Christmas Fair. Local businesses contribute to the Santa’s sack, local residents volunteer to help set up the site, local community groups and causes help put on the event. This is Bow’s big annual jolly that allows you to support and revel in your neighbourhood.

Centre stage will be Santa, in the sparkliest grotto in East London we’re sure, ready to dole out festive cheer and free gifts to local children. With the help of local businesses Santa has even added some star prizes into the mix, ready to be won by a handful of lucky children. After last year’s queue to see Santa, there’ll be some added entertainment while children wait.

There will also be a winter market, featuring many traders local to east London. Children will be entertained with face painting and crafts and a choir. And there will be festive favourites in the form of mince pies, hot chocolate and mulled wine to get you in the mood.
