The day that recycling, food and garden waste is collected in parts of our neighbourhood is changing.

From 8 April 2019, collection day will be FRIDAY not Tuesday.

If you live in a house or receive a weekly collection from your front door you should have got a letter  last week which tells you your new collection day. Letters have only been sent to  those properties affected.

If you live in a block of flats your landlord/managing agent/caretaker will be provided with the details of any day changes for your property.

If you aren’t sure or threw the notice out without reading it (as we all do sometimes) The new schedule will be available on Tower Hamlets’ website waste collection page.
