Tower Hamlets Council wants our input on how to improve the look and feel of public spaces in our neighbourhood.
From creating new green spaces to rethinking how our streets work, the council wants our thoughts, ideas and feedback. This is a good opportunity to address some of the issues in our neighbourhood including the safety of the Bow/Fairfield Rd intersection and the crossing near Bow Church and the care of Grove Hall Park, so be sure to have your say!
To do this, visit www.towerhamlets.gov.uk/liveablestreets and complete the online survey. You can also plot your ideas on an interactive map. The survey is open until Tuesday 21 May 2019. The area under consultation takes in the streets bordered by the A12 in the west, north ofย Bow Road, east of Grove Road and south of Victoria Park .
You can also speak to the Liveable Streets team at one of its drop-in events:
- Thursday 2 May 5-7pm at Idea Store Bow, 1 Gladstone Place, Roman Road London E3 5ES
- Saturday 11 May 10am-noonat Idea Store Bow, 1 Gladstone Place, Roman Road London E3 5ES

Thanks Andy! I have been thinking about a (green) sound absorbing screen at the end of Wrexham road for quite a while and have tried to talk to MP / TfL about it but this may also be a good way to raise the noise issue!
Jorrin this is a great idea. Noise from the A12 and DLR/trains seems to be getting louder. The small lot at the end of the street is owned by the Brymay Close residents and trees were planted when the site was restored after Crossrail work, but died because they weren’t watered over the hot summer. When we first moved in 10 years ago there were lots of lovely trees there, also aiding neighbourhood biodiversity, which is really important. I’ll certainly be making that point in my submission ๐
