Helping each other during the coronavirus crisis

Neighbours,

We don’t know what will happen in the next few weeks, but some of us will probably become ill with coronavirus or have to self-isolate to stay safe.

So we are getting together a gang of people who will be here to make sure no one is left to cope alone. Many of us will have good support networks, but if this helps just one person who doesn’t, it will be worth it.

Some of the things we might be able to help with (while obviously keeping everyone safe) include:

  • Helping you set up online services like grocery delivery
  • Walking your dog
  • Running errands
  • Phoning you for a chat
  • Bringing you a hot meal

We’ve already had a fantastic response, with lots of people willing to help, which just shows what a great neighbourhood we live in.

Who knows what will happen next, but if you want to help OR you need some help at any point in the next few weeks (or months) email info@fcara.org.uk and we’ll put you in touch.

  1. Hi, I’d love to be on hand to assist our most vulnerable neighbours during this time or any other way. From Clare Spronk 2 Ridgdale Street

  2. Hello, I would like to help as well. I am going to the Co Op regularly. Any vulnerable neighbours out there, I can bring supplies.
