Bulb planting in Grove Hall Park – join the “friends” campaign to improve our park

We’re on a mission to improve Grove Hall Park – and we’d like you to join us.

Thanks to Tower Hamlets Council and the Fairfield Conservation Area Residents’ Association (FCARA), the new Friends of Grove Hall Park have 3,500 daffodil blubs to plant for spring colour.

This is the first in what we hope will be a host of projects to improve biodiversity in the park, and make it an even better place for us all to enjoy.

We had hoped this would be a group event, but to make sure it’s safe, instead we will hold planting sessions over the four Saturdays in November, with groups of up to six planting at any one time.

There will be three, two-hour slots each Saturday November 7, 14, 21 and 28 starting at 10am, midday and 2pm. Tools will be provided. You can book more than one session, of course!

If you are interested, use the form below to contact our secretary Michael – make sure you include a contact and your preferred session.
