After a hiatus in 2020, the neighbourhood picnic is back!
When: Saturday 4 September from midday – 4pm (ish)
Where: Grove Hall Park
Why: Why not?
This year we’re not joining up with The Great Get-Together or Big Lunch, but our annual celebration still has all the things you’ve come to love – the big Bow Bake-Off, our Top Dog competition prize-giving and a few silly games.
So, bring a picnic and join us in the park for an afternoon of fun and (hopefully) sun. We’ll be celebrating rain or shine.
As always, the picnic is a community-run event. We don’t get any money from the council or anyone else so any and all donations on the day are gratefully accepted…. anything left over will also help fund our ambitious plans for a street party next year (watch this space).
And we’re always glad of some extra help – perhaps you can help set up or clean up, or supervise a couple of games on the day? Use the form below to get in touch.
See you all there!
