Join us for the Jubilee Street Party – Sunday 5 June

Join us for a right royal knees-up to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee

Where: Ridgdale Street E3
When: Sunday 5 June
What time: 11am to 5pm, rain or shine

Whether you’re a fervent royalist, a staunch republican or something somewhere between, this is a great chance for the neighbourhood to get together and let our hair down after what has been a pretty horrible couple of years.

So if you’d like to join in, just bring  your chairs, tables and party food out into the street for  lunch, competitions and fun.

What we’ve got planned

  • Big Bow Bakeoff – this time with a “Commonwealth Creations”  theme (prizes for U12 and over 12s, best decorated, best tasting)
  • Music and games
  • A fantastic craft area for kids (with junk modelling, speed drawing, loo roll queens workshops)
  • Royal Hat Competition (decided by a public vote on the day, prizes for under 16s and over 16s)

You can find more details about how to enter the competitions and crafting activities in other posts on this website.

Please note: as part of our agreement with Tower Hamlets Council, the street party is limited to residents of Jebb/Ridgdale and Baldock Streets, Wrexham Rd and Brymay Close and their friends and families (i.e: immediate neighbourhood). This is because we have a strict limit on numbers allowed at the event.

If you’d like to help out on the day with setting up and cleaning up, please use the form below or email info@fcara.org.uk
