FCARA members have been invited by Councillor Rachel Blake (Labour, Bow East) to join a workshop on Saturday, 28 March at 12.30pm to dicuss ways to reduce anti-social behaviour (ASB) in our community.
The meeting, at Learning Lab 3 at the Whitechapel Idea Store, 321 Whitechapel Road, E1 1BU will involve a short workshop followed by a roundtable to share experiences of ASB, identify the main issues and try to find ways to strengthen the work of Tower Hamlets Council and others in this area. This includes encouraging people to report incidents of drug taking and related ASB in communal spaces in our neighbourhoods. This is something we’ve had problems with in the past and may become an issue again in coming months, because Grove Hall Park is no longer deemed a Neighbourhood Priority.
It’s very short notice, but if anyone wants to go and represent FCARA and report back to the association at its next meeting in May (date TBD) they are more than welcome. Contact the Secretary on the form below to let them know.
