FCARA has been working for our community for over 10 years, ensuring a collective voice on issues such as Crossrail, Grove Hall Park, parking, anti-social behaviour, new developments, and the Ham and Wick sewer.
Our expenses are few: apart from contributions to the street party a few years ago, we just pay for room hire for meetings and nothing else. But we do need funds to keep the meetings and FCARA itself going.
If you are able to make a donation either contact Michael using the comment form below, or secretaryfcara@yahoo.co.uk, pop a contribution along to 42 Wrexham Road, or come along to the next meeting – we hold them every three months or so at the little meeting room annexe at St Mary’s Church (Bow Church, the big one in the middle of Bow Road).
To keep in touch you can sign up to our mailing list (scroll down the left hand side of the home page) or follow us on Twitter @FCARA_Bow or on Facebook
There are other ways you can support the residents’ association – come along to our meetings, for starters. Or maybe you have suggestions for how to make this site better/more useful? A neighbourhood event or initiative you think we should take up? Maybe you can help out on a one-off basis, like the volunteers gathering signatures for our petition about the development bordering Grove Hall Park? Many hands make light work!
