Nunnery Film Screenings: Pyscho, Farenheit 451 and The Green Ray

The Nunnery Gallery hosts a series of film screenings, kicking off with Psycho this Halloween:

Join us on Halloween  for a screening of the Hitchcock’s classic horror film Psycho, with daring drinks and nightmarish nibbles offered by Bow Arts’ Carmelite Cafe.

Bow Bonfire Night: Farenheit 451
When: Thursday, 5 November, 7-10 pm

Join us on bonfire night for this special screening of 1960s classic Fahrenheit 451, artist Willem Weismann will introduce the film in relation to his current exhibition of paintings Alphabet Soup.

Special Exhibition Screening of The Green Ray

When: Thursday, 12 November, 7-10 pm

Join us for a screening of the 1986 French classic film The Green Ray, introduced by artist Willem Weismann, whose work is currently exhibiting at the Nunnery. Looking to capture that moment of complete absorption, Weismann was inspired by the novel The Green Ray; his painting of the same title captures the clarifying moment of the green flash.
