Work starts today (9 November) on the final stage of the Crossrail-related work on the Ham & Wick sewer at the end of Wrexham Rd/Wick Lane.
Dragados-Sisk, the company running the project, says it is now removing the piles in the shaft to the sewer and restoring the area. For those of you who can’t remember what that site was, it’ll be turned back into a carpark. The brick wall will be rebuilt, so part of the footpath at the bottom of Wrexham Rd will be closed temporarily (although it’s not closed yet).
Dragados-Sisk expects to have the work finished by 18 December. Until then expect work on site Monday to Friday from 8am-6pm and Saturdays from 8am-1pm.
